Buonasera a tutti

Vi leggo da molto ma non scrivo mai in quanto la ricerca mi porta sempre a risolvere i miei dubbi e anzi, a tal proposito vi ringrazio enormemente per il supporto..

Faccio due premesse prima di entrare nella questione:

Non fermento in isobarico o keg vari (uso ancora i fermentatori in plastica)

Non sono un fan dei travasi (non vedo alcuna utilità: più roba da lavare, più ossidazione, più rischi..)


Ora che mi sono inimicato mezza community ( si scherza ovviamente) vengo al punto:

Sto facendo una IPA e ovviamente tra qualche giorno dovrò fare dry hop.. pellet libero in fermentatore..


Ecco.. quando arriverà il momento di imbottigliare tale birra sono già pronto a estrarre il famoso bestemmiario tascabile per contrastare le particelle di luppolo in sospensione, che oltre a poter finire nelle bottiglie potrebbe intasare il rubinetto..

E da qui l'idea in titolo

Potrebbe mai avere senso operare in questa successione?

Fase 1 collego il Blow off del primo fermentatore al rubinetto di un secondo fermentatore, opportunamente lavato e sanitizzato, con il coperchio chiuso e munito di gorgogliatore..

in questo modo dovrebbe riempirsi di anidride carbonica rimanendo però sterile

Fase 2 faccio un po' di cold crash nel primo fermentatore

Fase 3 travaso nel secondo fermentatore (senza ossidare dato che nel fondo del fermentatore dovrebbe esserci almeno un bel cappello di co2)

Fase 4 altro cold crash di qualche giorno e poi solito.. bottiglie, siringhette per lo zucchero ed eventuale lievito da rifermentazione, tappo e via a rifermentare..


Al di là dello sbatti decisamente maggiore dei miei standard, come vedete questa procedura? Può aver senso o mi sto perdendo qualcosa per strada?
